We had fun at the Coastal Route, today. It was not oppressively hot, either.
We had a good ride. Craig, Travis, and I rode for the 37 mile route. It is 39 miles with the box. We are working on new routes to keep it fresh and different. The 39 miles on the new route could feature a coffee stop at the other “French Memories.”
We had 24 starters for the ride, today. Most rode the 30 mile route. Vito met the group at Coffee Corner. We saw some of the Blue Hills gang roll through border street at Z5; this means that they were racing past us.
We had new rider, Steve, that joined the group. The weather was perfect in comparison to some of those tough days of a few weeks past. We will keep the ride at 8 AM for a few more weekends, but eventually we will move to a 9AM start-time.
The new pavement on Circuit street is wonderful. Some of the shots are from Circuit street. Some rode over the million dollar mile. Others went up the repaved Pleasant St. Circuit to Pleasant is completely new!
