Gravel practice ride 3/24

We will meet at the Franklin trailhead. This will be a practice ride for gravel grinders. We will take it slow and discover the airline right of way. We will ride 22 miles to the connecticut border and return. Anticipated mileage is 45. This will be a little bit of free practice for those signing up for the gravel grinders. We will stop for lunch enroute.

In Franklin, access the trail by taking I-495 to Exit 16 and head toward Bellingham. After about 3 miles turn right onto Grove Street; the signed trail entrance is about 0.25 mile on the left. A town parking area is across the street on the right.

Sunday will be a ride from the Cumberland Farms in Halifax to Marion for coffee at Uncle Jon’s.  This is a 50 mile ride.  We will average 16 to 17mph.  Pacelining required.
